Shri Ramesh Srinivasan is a distinguished leader in management consulting, renowned for his extensive contributions to organizational transformation, leadership development, and social
responsibility.
He earned his B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1992, followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 1994, where he was awarded a Gold Medal for Academic Excellence.
Since joining McKinsey & Company in 1994, Shri Ramesh has held pivotal roles, including Senior Partner in the New York office and Dean Bower Forum, McKinsey Academy for CEO Learning, McKinsey’s esteemed program for CEO learning. His expertise spans a broad range of industries, encompassing healthcare, high-tech, banking, and industrial sectors. He has led initiatives in merger management, organizational design, talent and leadership development, performance management, and capability building.
Beyond his client engagements, Shri Ramesh is deeply committed to social responsibility. He serves on McKinsey’s Global Social Responsibility Council and is actively involved in educational initiatives. He is on the Boards of two non-profit organizations – Akanksha Education Fund and Teach For India, providing educational services to underprivileged students in India.
Shri Ramesh has also contributed to thought leadership through various publications, including co-authoring the bestselling book, “The Journey of Leadership: How CEOs Learn to Lead from the Inside Out,” which explores the personal development of leaders and the cultivation of authentic leadership.
