His work has played a critical role in shaping modern computing technologies and semiconductor manufacturing.
As an IBM Fellow, the highest honor conferred by IBM Research, Dr. Narayanan has led groundbreaking advancements in Analog AI Deep Learning Accelerators, and High-κ/Metal Gate transistor technology. His leadership in materials innovation has significantly influenced IBM’s global semiconductor strategy, directly impacting industry-wide progress in computing efficiency and performance.
Dr. Narayanan’s research contributions have been widely recognized, with 236 U.S. patents, an H-index of 48, and multiple accolades, including the IBM Corporate Award, induction into the IBM Academy of Technology, and the prestigious George E.
