S. ‘Sundi’ Sundaresh is the President and CEO of Xangati, Inc. an enterprise infrastructure software company. Sundi is a well-known technology executive with a proven track-record. Sundi has served in various capacities as CEO, general manager, board member (public and private) and senior executive at top companies, where he has delivered profitable business growth; completed mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and raised capital. He has run both well-established and start-up organizations with revenues up to $1 billion. Before becoming an advisor to technology companies and a board member of GridGain and SandForce, Sundi was the president and CEO of Adaptec, Inc. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Candera Inc., an enterprise storage virtualization start up. As president and CEO of Jetstream Communications, a pioneer in voice over broadband, he captured the leading market share with the company’s solutions. During a previous tenure at Adaptec, Sundi served in a number of positions, including general manager and corporate vice president of worldwide marketing. He has also held various positions at Hewlett-Packard.  He began his career as an engineer at National Semiconductor Corporation. Sundi is the co-founder IITMAANA (IIT Madras) Bay Area Chapter and has been a speaker, moderator, panelist at various IIT Madras & PANIIT events in the US.  He also serves on the Boards of PanIIT USA and Pratham USA, Bay Area Chapter, a non-profit focused on primary education for under-privileged children in India. Sundi has a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) from IIT Madras, 1978, aMaster of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, 1979, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, 1983.
