Started career as a Scientist in CSIR – Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, Kolkata and rose to become Scientist EII and came out in 1994. Now is a full time management consultant specializing in the area of Innovation.

His interest in creativity puzzles and riddles started during his school days, pursued the interest and started writing articles in magazines and newspapers. Management associations and other professional bodies started calling him for giving lectures, conducting training programmes and other consultancy works.

He has published several articles on Developing Creative Powers, Blocks to Creativity, Idea Generation, Change Orientation, Problem Solving, and allied areas.

He brings out a periodical “Creativity Sphere” and shares it among the participants of his workshops and others. 26,000 people are now receiving the same. 80th issue is now in the anvil.

He is also an examiner of All India Management Association.

Annamalai has been interviewed in the programme of SUN TV, Kalaignar TV and in Polimar TV.

Annamalai is a prominent member of Junior Chamber International – a worldwide organisation youth for Leadership Development and has won the most prestigious award – “Outstanding Jaycee of India.” He is also a Training of Trainers (TROT) graduate of the Junior Chamber International, Coral Gables, USA
