The partnership between CERT and IIT Madras represents a unified vision for the future of education and research with IITM Global tasked to carry out the deliverables outlined in this partnership.
This collaboration leverages the combined expertise, resources, and global networks of both institutions, paving the way for transformative advancements that will benefit both parties and the broader academic and research communities worldwide. It also aims to develop joint academic programs, such as dual degree programs and accredited training courses, integrating them with the latest industry trends to maximize students’ benefits.
The MoU also highlights collaboration in intellectual property and technology transfer, aiming to facilitate technology licensing agreements, support the commercialization of jointly developed innovations, and establish advanced research and innovation centres. It seeks to propel scientific progress by launching joint research projects, securing international funding, and fostering collaboration in publishing high-impact research papers. Additionally, the partnership explores the formation of research consortiums in areas of mutual interest.
