Umesh Achia retired in 2014 from ExxonMobil following a distinguished 39-year career as inventor, innovator, technology leader and product line executive. He is currently involved in Technology Consulting as President of ACHIA LLC. He is alumnus of Lawrence School, Lovedale; graduated from IIT Madras with a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering and from the University of British Columbia in Canada with a Ph.D. He is recognized on Esso’s Patent Honor Roll for significant intellectual property contributions to ExxonMobil’s downstream business.
