Dr. Madhavan is at present Vice President, Bank of America Continuum India, Hyderabad. Prior to that, he has served with Cognizant (Chennai), Satyam Computers (Chennai), Ariba Inc. (Atlanta), Leica Geosystems (Atlanta) and as Senior Consultant to various companies in the U.S.

Dr. Madhavan has 20 years of experience in research, architecture, development and delivery of software solutions in varied domains (retail, financial, telecom, ISV, semiconductors) with focus on Ecommerce Platforms. He has provided technical architecture, hands-on technical development and initiative delivery in Ecommerce, GIS, Telecom and Event Management domains. He has hands-on experience with design/development/support of scalable and highly available distributed enterprise applications running on web-based platforms, and extensive experience of progam audits, reviews, implementation overhaul and turnaround of engagements for Fortune 500 customers. He has significant research experience in software development and semiconductor simulations.

Dr. Madhavan has a B.Tech. in MME from IIT Madras in 1988, an M.S. in Physics from Brown University in 1989, and a Ph.D. in Physics from Rutgers University in 1994.
