Bharath Kumaran, is a 2007 BTech (Mechanical Engineering) graduate of IIT Madras. He was a Tapti-an (Room #136 to be precise!) and was involved in coordinator roles with both Shaastra and Saarang. Bharath was awarded the President of India’s Gold Medal for graduating top of his class

After graduation, he worked for the International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group) in India and in Washington DC. He was on the steering committee of the Young Professionals organization of Washington DC, a network of young professionals across 150+ countries, engaged in international development. He recently graduated with an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) and will be working for McKinsey & Co. in Singapore.
