BENGALURU | MUMBAI: Tesla will enter India next year, CEO Elon Musk confirmed on Friday, while thanking customers for being patient with the world’s most valuable car maker that first began accepting orders for its iconic electric vehicles here in 2016.

“Next year for sure,” Musk wrote on Twitter, replying to a query by Tesla India Club: “Hey Elon, just thought we’d put this out here. We wait and hang on to hope wrt “hopefully soon” for India Tesla entry. Would love to hear of any progress in this regard.”
