IIT Madras is currently accepting applications for a program called Certified Cyber Warrior V3.0 on its Skill Academy. The course will equip learners with tips and tricks to tackle a wide range of cyber adversaries that are capable of harming the enterprises’ IT environment. Due to the extended lockdown, the next batch of the course will begin from 15 November 2020.
The course will be conducted by Prof V Kamakoti from IIT Madras, and other guest faculties from IIIT D and M, IIIT B as well as industry professionals. The 120-hour long course, in which a 30-hour log Boot Camp at IIT Madras is included, will be conducted from 15 November 2020 to 14 March 2021. Upon completion of the course participants will receive a certificate from IIT Madras and will be able to prevent attacks and detect adversaries with actionable techniques.
Who can take the Certified Cyber Warrior Course by IIT Madras?
The course is open to graduate and diploma holders from a recognized university. It would be beneficial for candidates to have a basic understanding of technology, networks, and security. Participants will be though about digital forensics, cryptography, governance and compliance, network security, mobile security, dark web and deep web, risk management, cyber security design and maintaining resilience and best practices, and so on.
Furthermore, the course includes a three-day 30-hour boot camp at IIT Madras wherein participants will be introduced to 52 tools. The boot camp comprises 30 packed hours of exhibiting state-of-the-art cyber security tools to try and practice is real-world cyber environment created for learning purposes, says IIT Madras.

Interested participants will have to enroll online on the official Skill Academy website. The program fee is Rs 1,41,600, and the institute is offering installment based payment for the course due to the pandemic situation.
