Center for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) of IITM coordinates all non-campus academic & outreach activities from IIT Madras. Through various non-campus programs, IITM CODE facilitates the continuing education initiatives of the Institute.
IIT Madras CODE in collaboration with Wadhwani School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, IIT Madras has launched 2 certificate programs which deal with the latest topics in the AI Domain namely
Both programs are delivered online and include recorded video content, weekly assignments, module level assessments, live interaction with the faculty every week and a discussion forum to ask your questions. The program also includes a visit to the IIT Madras campus that will foster peer-peer networking as well as an in-person interaction with the faculty. The programs are designed such that you can consume the content at your convenience but are also paced with deadlines that ensure you do complete the weekly milestones and the entire course.
The courses start on 1st May 2024 and registrations are currently open.
This is a 2 month course that aims to give a high level overview of machine learning/deep learning along with deployability and responsibility aspects of AI. The course will include case studies that will help managers appreciate the practical applications of the algorithms and how to effectively translate to their work/domains of interest.

– Responsible AI – Tour
This is a 2 week course that intends to introduce the participants to the ideas of Responsible AI. The course is primarily targeted at practitioners/leaders who are involved in high level policy/decision making roles in the AI/ML industry space and intended to educate the participants about the nuances of deploying AI in a responsible manner.
